Finnix 87.0, coming soon to a theater near you

  • Posted by Ryan Finnie on February 19, 2006, 11:31 pm

I declare the next version of Finnix to be named... 87.0! Enough has changed that warrants a major version bump.

Remember, if you want to see what's going on in Finnix development, see the work in progress release notes that detail development as it happens, and to download a development snapshot from snapshots.finnix.org.

Theatre near you.... Let's see, so Finnix is going to become an HTPC distro? Lol, just kidding.

Actually, 86.2 is working so darned well I'm almost afraid to upgrade. Then again, whatever differences are enough to make it warant a full number upgrade makes me just can't wait to try it out.
