Finnix is a small, self-contained, bootable Linux CD distribution for system administrators, based on Debian testing. Today marks the release of version 92.1 for the x86/AMD64, PowerPC, and UML/Xen platforms.
Finnix 92.1 is a regular maintenance release. New features include Linux kernel 2.6.26, updated upstream software, and x86 boot menu cleanups.
What would be nice. if not on the release notes then somewhere on the wiki, a list of applications contained in Finnix... I actualy find it hard to believe there isn't one and I've simply given up looking too easily.
Is EVMS in Finnix? This seems like a nice piece of software and may allow me to recover my PC.
Just a quick thanks for the excellent lightweight boot CD. I needed to create a custom LiveCD for intel and PPC and your platform is fantastic.
Rodney, the package lists are in the release notes, 3rd bullet point at the top.
